Adding any emoji as a reaction remains under review.
I am marking this as partially done to let you know a new reactions bar with Like, Heart, Laugh, Surprised, Sad, and Angry has begun rolling out to all users.
i must admit that it's really pleasing to have 75% of my company saying that the current reations are pointless and that there needs to way more choice !
why not just implement at least Emoji 11 or 12 ?
this has been under going testing or over 9 months, i think it's about time we got told the exact situation so we can inform correctly are colleagues and are clients...
This is an improvement BUT I think that everyone was after some thing alote vaster... Something like slack has got... You're of to a good start why not finish it properly ?
4 months testing... Is this addition just not working for Microsoft !?!
We know you are patiently waiting for this feature. This feature is being implemented in stages. Fast tenant switching is currently in testing both internally and with early customers. We expect to release to the public in the Fall. I’ll post an update once it’s rolling out.
Full multi-tenant, multi-user support will be added after fast tenant switching.
This request is still on the backlog.
what do you gus also think about this suggestion :
It sounds like you are asking for Private Channels which should release later this calendar year. You can follow the topic at: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103/suggestions/16911079
A workaround, for the time being, would be to create a team “support services team” and have “data management” and “tech support” be their own channels.
Thank you for your feedback!

Thank you so much for your support of the product. This request was particularly helpful and we appreciate your engagement in the surveys, comments and forum to help us design this feature. Please continue to submit ideas!
For this item, we’re making great progress. It has now entered TAP validation with a small group of tenants. Will let you know how that goes!
The feature team is still considering this item. No confirmation yet.
Could we please have an update ?
Due to prioritization of other work-items this has been moved to the backlog. We will update when it is being actively worked on again.
Can we please have an update on this ?
We’re pleased to confirm the Teams client for Linux will be available in preview by the end of this calendar year, enabling people who use Linux client at work or in educational institutions to collaborate with others on Teams. Users will be able to install native Linux packages in .deb and .rpm formats.
Have we got any news on this and is there any work arounds in the meen time without loosing functionalities ?
