This would be really handy. I work across multiple teams and sometimes a post one has shared would be of great value to the other. Being able to remove the work of copy-paste would help. Especially when the original poster puts so much effort into making their post look great.
Have this on my phone and my tablet and whilst sat at my desk all three ring. So annoying
The experience of launching teams from a link or attachment needs to get better. Going through a browser and needing to click makes the experience clunky.
I like this idea. I'd also like the option to present URLs in some "Friendly Format". For example a friendly concatenation of location and file name? URL syntax is horrible for pasting into emails or other communications. Perhaps can we get a Share Link with more features for users to choose the format they would like? I guess this is also a feature request for OneDrive/SharePoint too!
As stated in the last update, the ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is being implemented in stages for Desktop. Faster tenant switching functionality on the Windows client has been rolled out to the public ring fully, and Mac will begin rolling out soon. Work is in progress on cross-tenant notification improvements, and support for multiple accounts on desktop will follow. We’ll keep you posted!
Note: The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today.
Alex & the Teams team
Performance has been and continues to be a big focus area for Teams. One main area we have made improvements in is responsiveness for the most frequent user actions of switching between Chat, Channel, and Activity. We are also focused on reducing resource consumption and application load time. More improvements are on the way.
I agree. My work requires using both multiple teams and to some extent multiple organisations. The slow speed of switching can be very frustrating to productivity. Particularly the speed of switching orgs which seems to require teams to sign-out/sign-in.
Definitely. This very thing would help me with working simultaneously on multiple Organisations' teams sites.
