We have a critical line-of-business app that spans two monitors, and our customer service reps often use SfB screen sharing when they need to consult with a coworker or lead. Not having the ability to see the entire app (both monitors) in a screen sharing session will significantly impact adoption of Teams for this group of about 150 employees.

It would be really helpful to be able to pass a URL parameter (something like ?skipdownload=true) to selectively bypass this for those trying to use it in VDI or other managed scenarios.

Another +1 from someone trying to use Teams in a VDI environment. We're plugging away at making the client work despite it being a per-user install and incredibly memory hungry, so this pretty much eliminates using the web client as a workaround/substitute.

We at least need the ability to delete SfB interop threads. If a Teams user has a chat with an SfB user, then the SfB user upgrades to Teams, the chat that occurred using the SfB interop gateway is stuck in the chat list. It's confusing to the user, and they should have a way to remove the older SfB thread.

Agreed. I'm guessing this is a limitation of the Windows Store / Modern App / UWP / whatever platform, but this is just one more limitation that irritates users.

Thank you for your feedback! We are updating this as “Partialy Done” as our first step to solving for pinned posts has been released! Pinned posts allows users from a team to pin a message for everyone in the channel to be able to easily reference. While any message can be pinnable, we expect our users to use this feature to pin information like channel guidelines or important announcements. We know this doesn’t solve all pinning scenarios, and that there is still a need to make this easier for users to find, especially within the message list. We will share another update as soon as it is available.

if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies. We will keep this request in mind as we evolve the cross-posting feature in the future and update if the status changes.

Details on cross posting can be found here: https://support.office.com/article/cross-post-a-channel-conversation-in-teams-9c1252a3-67ef-498e-a7c1-dd7147b3d295.
