Same problem here. Azerty to Azerty (French/Belgian): no M, no point, no @. Seems to be Qwerty, but even then these keys won’t translate correctly.
TeamViewer does a better job at this, translating between local and remote layouts.Roel supported this idea ·

I would love to be able to script* this client-side, based on current IP.
I.e. when in the office, office IP -> script to set custom status message "In the Office", option "Show" active and clear after 1 hour.
When not in the office, other IP -> nothing happens.
*script preferably bash, as we are on Mac, but let's not forget about Win either -

We are getting closer, and are still working thru some bugs, but hope to release this as part of a Public Preview pack in early 2021! (Windows 10 released with the December 2020 pack this week)
You can learn more about the new Microsoft Teams Public Preview program here: https://aka.ms/TeamsPublicPreview, and Teams administrators can find documentation to manage which users will see the Public Preview option here: https://aka.ms/TeamsPublicPreviewAdmin

Roy F, great workaround, but it requires colleagues to be already authenticated on the web version of Teams, as I'm sure you know.
Come on MS, make it possible to create URLs that open Teams.app chats directly (on Mac and Win alike).

I would like this to be able to insert my personal Chat URL in my email footer. Get busy!

The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.
You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.
Thanks!

I'd like to include an url to chat with me in Teams in my email signature.

Different problem here. Unable to click in the remote menubar when remote controlling a Mac screen.
