Teams is already threaded! Just make sure to use the “Reply” button instead of the bottom compose bar when responding to someone’s previous post. That will thread the conversation.

The feedback I have received is that this issue is directly related to modern authentication.
If your company is not using modern auth’ the Teams app will force you to relog after updates, which causes you to miss notifications.
Instructions on how to setup modern authentication can be found at – https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/msi-deployment

Please email me your logs so I can have the development team investigate.
You can generate logs by using the shortcut CRTL+ALT+SHIFT+1
This will generate a txt file in your Downloads folder starting with the name “MSTeams Diagnostics Log……………”.
Please email the logs to: TEAMSML@microsoft.com and use the Subject line of “OSX client – App Quits”
Thank you!

Once support for Windows 10 native notifications is released, users who choose to use Windows notifications will be able to utilize Windows OS specific settings for the length of time to display notifications. Mac does not have an OS specific setting, so will not have the support.

Adding any emoji as a reaction remains under review.
I am marking this as partially done to let you know a new reactions bar with Like, Heart, Laugh, Surprised, Sad, and Angry has begun rolling out to all users.

%100 this is due to your company's Teams Administrator removing this ability via policy
