We've been waiting for this for too long. The Teams status needs sorting ASAP. Up-to 5 minute delays are unacceptable - And the API needs releasing so the call status can be updated in realtime to hardware and software devices.

We use Blynclight alongside other presence products like Kuando Busylight. We need the API to expose user presence in real-time - And would be useful for a status board on the wall to see who is at their desk or on the phones.

Skype for Business used to give the number. Teams doesn't. This is a much needed feature for users who answer call from customers!

We've been asking for this in Skype for Business. It'll probably need an overhaul of their system for this data. I wouldn't expect it anytime soon.

FYI, this is now available in Call Queues. You'll have to get your admin to enable it via the Teams Admin centre.
