Our organization would like the option to require names on questions, so it's easier to have a closed-loop discussion. Of course, we still need to allow anonymity in situations.

YES! Democratize the hardware choices. Microsoft once quoted on stage saying "we don't want customers to create Frankenstein room systems". Microsoft, please follow the user here.

We depend on OBS and the ability to work in a Teams call. Please rush a fix, then also build in more testing before release. Seems obvious, but maybe because virtual cameras are not considered a native feature it falls off the testing plan. I bet we're not the only company using it (I've heard MS uses OBS) Thanks for making a great tool!

UPDATED - Today the call control bar is in the new upper right position! AWESOME

Great news - I got the new meeting experience on my desktop app today. The updates that were supposed to reposition the control bar to the upper right area of a meeting. But I'm on a Macbook...and the only call control changes I see are that I can no longer access the meeting chat. Please please please tell me that this isn't the plan for public release? Please tell me I won't need to use the words "on windows only"

Invite the guest presenter to a Team before your LIVE event. That's the workaround I've had to resort to... We're ignorant to what the Teams product team really means, but if you have a practice where you highlight poor experiences...you NEED to test this one. I would also encourage you to sign up for a free Outlook.com account and then try to sign up for Teams. In my experience, your app asks users to create an organization! So confusing.. By the way, when we call support to ask about this, they tell us 'all is good...and to keep trying..'

With COVID-19 changing how we work - our employees' voice is getting louder on this need. Teams that may otherwise have analog schedules published in the office are asking what digital solutions we can offer. We're suggesting Outlook, but many of our users are asking why they need to go back and forth between software. This is one of the foundational promises of Teams - a centralized hub for teamwork.

Also, as you get closer to releasing this, please consider the guest user. Our employees will expect that guests in their team would be able to access the calendar. Thanks for all you're doing with Teams! keep it up!

We would like to see a clear strategy for team calendaring needs.

    -Available in MS Teams
    -Available in Outlook
-Available on Mobile (should support Teams app, Outlook app, and native calendar apps)
    -Embeddable in Sharepoint
-Embeddable in site that supports iframe
    -Shareable to a

We would envision a 'calendar app' in MS Teams that would allow the user to connect to a group calendar and/or a shared mailbox calendar and/or a Sharepoint calendar. We've heard mixed messages from our MS account team on the strategy of shared calendars. Since we can't be confident in directing our user community to a single calendar platform, we're left asking the MS Teams team to support all variations. Thanks for listening.

If you want a guest to be a presenter in a LIVE event, that guest will need to have an E1, E3, E5 before they'll be able to join and present. That important information is nowhere on Microsoft's documentation. I wonder if the product team even knows about the problem. How does the product leave the door configured that way?

You must allow all federated or guest users to be presenters. It doesn't matter if they have an AAD user account or a MSA account, or an E* license, or O365 Essentials, or Teams (free) license.

This will only result in us adopting another product.

to the community - since Team owners can purge channels, would hosting your meetings in channels give you the ability to delete the chat stream after the meeting has ended?

My organization is impacted by this bug. Can someone from the product team ack that this is on a bug list somewhere? Premier support is asking us to call our hardware vendor. We need more details from the software side before we can report a bug on the hardware/driver side. Mainly we want to know that the product team is aware and has a plan to resolve it.

Adding email as a left tab panel remains under review. We are working on adding several Teams and email integrations:

    - Share to Teams: Share a copy of an email and any attachments into a chat or channel directly from Outlook

    - Share to Outlook: Share a copy of a channel or chat conversation via email directly from Teams

    - Actionable Teams Activity Emails: Teams missed activity emails display the latest replies and allow you to reply directly from Outlook

See this post for more information:

This problem is likely caused by a third party SSO. Can you confirm? We ended up renaming the account to ____@____.onmicrosoft.com as a test, and it signed in as expected. As you now the onmicrosoft domain will bypass ADFS/SSO.

Would be nice if the product team commented on this. We have a case open with support, who are now tying to set up our identical environment to repro it for the product team. The support team is struggling with setting up the environment...and honestly, what a waste of time. Our SSO is on a list of supported SSO providers....and therefore we expect that product teams are testing against it. If they're not, then publicly come out and say you don't support third party sso for MS Teams + Surface Hub.
