(This is emoji rather than emoticon.) Please consolidate this forum issue with "fix the spelling on the Drooling Face emoji." (https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/43597914-fix-the-spelling-on-the-drooling-face-emoji)

I have been dying to introduce this idea for a long time and finally logged in here to fine find this. Here's the problem statement:
Chat 1: Person A chats a topic at you.
Chat 2: Person A & B chat at you about related topic.
Chat 3: You chat at Person B plus person C.
These different groupings of chats meander around similar topics. Maybe someone has entitled chats, maybe not. Some have file(s) shared, some don't.
..... Now you are supposed to do something with a file ... You remember possibly it was in a chat and probably Person B was in that chat, but you've had lots of different chat groupings where Person B was involved. Which chat was it? The one with Person C? The one with Person C, F & H? Who can remember? I end up just calling Person B and asking, "Hey - remember that time you shared that file? Do you remember where that was? Oh, OK, you'll just email it to me? Really? Ok - well I guess at least I won't lose it."
If we had folders [BETTER YET TAGS, 21st century] where we could designate our individual organization sense, and even add tags to them when the conversation turned to a different topic, that would be great!

I use Teams all day every day. I like it a lot ..... BUT i need to control when I launch it. Often first thing in the morning I need to devote my precious system startup resources to other tasks and having to stop and wait for Teams to open when I need to be doing other things is a pain in my tookas.

I have Teams DISABLED in my startup applications list, and this used to be sufficient. Now it has resumed its awful auto-launch at startup behavior again, nonetheless.

This should be controlled at the individual user level.

I completely recognize that MS needs some feedback loop for call quality. That's fine. But I have two suggestions.
    (1) Change the tone of the question from passive-aggressive praise seeking "Please tell me I'm OK! I really need your personal approval," to a rational and neutral rating. Stop humanizing the ask. It's emotionally exhausting and not necessary.
    (2) Allow a user to select a frequency ... every call / max 4x per day randomly / ever three calls, etc.

There were a couple of other "archive conversation" ideas but the specific request I did not agree with.

We need a way for (minimally the team admins/owners) to be able to send a conversation to an archive so it's out of the way yet still searchable by team members in case someone is looking for rationale for a past decision, etc.

10000% need to do this. I cannot tell you how many times (because it is too many to count) smart, tech savvy, people create an entirely new conversation to say, "me too," or a new conversation to say, "That's what I thought."

What is what they thought? We don't know.

After a year of using Teams and people are still not replying correctly, the problem is with the UI.

MINIMUM - attach files to a specific folder within the channel files.
BEST - select destination folder at time of making attachment.

Also there is a bug when you manually overcome this file management sin. See attached file for documentation of this.

Another use case I can think of for this is someone who is on long term medical or parental leave. It may be able to catch up on chat history after a week or two vacation, but several months of chat to catch up on would be unreasonable. The user should be able to disallow chat and then allow it again when they return to work.

We use a helpdesk administrative account for creation/management of Teams but we don't want to do support ticket intake via Teams chat. Nonetheless we are seeing a lot of people chatting at our helpdesk rather than use traditional support means.

We need to do any or all of the following:

Auto-respond to user instructing them how to get help.
Set out of office message that only applies to Teams that can instruct how to request help.
Simply reject chats sent to that 'user.'

It is necessary to be able to see accurate page layout. Not providing accurate page breaks and top and bottom margins of pages hampers print prep and is just visually annoying.

I have *many times* begun a chat message, gotten side-tracked, and left the message unsent. I only realize this hours, days or weeks later, the next time I want to message the same person.
IDEA: Prompt, "Do you want to send your message?" at the time the user attempts to change focus.
Give options: Send, Save Draft, or Discard, one of which must be chosen in order to move to a different place or conversation.

Whatever the placement - my plea is to please make the REPLY option much more prominent. We have users starting *brand new conversations* to say "Me, too," and "Done," and "I dunno, what do you want for lunch?" rather than attaching their replies to the main topic. Please make it bigger, or red, or appear as an actual old school beveled button ...

I found this feedback because I was looking for feedback to up-vote that says, "Make reply button way more prominent." we have people ALL THE TIME creating new conversations to say things like, "Done," or "Me too," or some other reply to a main topic, but instead of replying into the thread they are starting new conversations. Still looking for that feedback or will create own if I can't find. Those of you who don't want to have a "reply" button - why don't you want threaded conversations?
