Had a customer request today for admins to be able to delete chat messages in normal teams meetings (not connected to a team). Theoretical use case was to remove inappropriate content, threats or racist remarks from external meeting participants (citizens) in the meeting chat. Happy to see this is being worked on!

Works for internal and guest attendees (already guests in our tenant). We use Ms forms or Teams survey app in the chat (currently not publicly released?). Super easy. Also Polly and other 3rd party Teams apps would do the trick.

But doesn't allow external attendees to vote when we attempt to poll using forms and other Teams apps. Would be fantastic to do!

Our current workaround is to create a poll in MS forms outside of teams. Make it available for anyone and paste in meeting chat. For more interaction we screenshare results page as votes come in. Works but would rather have a smoother experience (just like we have with internal polls).

Hey guys! I think this feature could help solve some related concerns.
Rejoining and bypassing the lobby would not be possible if everyone landed in the lobby.

This has almost 700 votes and the team is working on it:

Thanks again for your feedback on this. The team has begun working on an option requiring everyone other than the meeting organizer to go thru the lobby. We will continue to evaluate our best option to release with increased priority.

    Thanks!

Got this feature as a requirement from a government customer today. Would personally love the option in some scenarios! Also makes sure invited external guests (in a Team) lands in the lobby.

Many questions from customers on this. Please provide a more recent update to the status of this feature currently in status "planned" for more than one year (March 14th 2019 at the time of this post)

Thank you for your feedback! We are hard at work improving the Shifts app experience including adding recurring shifts. In the meantime, we wanted to share some tips and tricks to help with some pain-points mentioned:
    1) Make Edits to Your Schedule (Delete, Undo, Minor Copy Edits): Shifts works similarly to Excel in certain regards, so make sure to highlight shifts with your mouse and utilize keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Ctrl+Z) to copy, delete, or undo actions. We find it helpful doing this particularly in month view and week view.
    2) Copy Button: Use the copy button on the top right to copy any timeframe you need for the entire schedule.
    3) Search for Shifts in Creation Phase: When creating a shift, utilize the search command to find shifts that have already been created in the past.

We’ll keep you posted when we have more news!

As stated in the last update, the ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is being implemented in stages for Desktop. Faster tenant switching functionality on the Windows client has been rolled out to the public ring fully, and Mac will begin rolling out soon. Work is in progress on cross-tenant notification improvements, and support for multiple accounts on desktop will follow. We’ll keep you posted!

Note: The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today.

    Thanks,
    Alex & the Teams team

    Hi guys!

Any status update on this feature? I have several customers asking for this feature in order to move away from email. Saving attachments directly to a channel in the interface is the key.

    @product team:
There's a great discussion and visualization of the solution here:

I love Teams but this is frustrating. Sharing a chat with colleagues or customers is constantly relevant. Imagine not having a forward button in email...

But glad it's being worked on! Any updates would be awesome. Thanks!

Needs a fix. Currently my customers are 2nd class chat-members and have to email files to me (unless they have a link-sharing feature)

Would be great for training/education, in classroom settings etc. Feature request has come up from a few customers. Any word on this feature coming to Teams?
