Hi — My apologies for the delay in updating this item. We rolled out a fix a year ago for a specific issue of status changing to away in Teams when you were still active on the device. We thought this had fixed the “incorrect status” issue. From comments below, it sounds like people are still seeing issues.
If you are still having issues, it would be super helpful if you can capture logs by typing Ctrl + Shift + Alt + 1, and send the file from your downloads folder along with device info and detailed repro steps to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your continued feedback. Screen sharing on Chrome and Chromium-based Edge is fully supported. For more information, please visit https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/limits-specifications-teams#browsers.
For Safari and Firefox, only incoming screen sharing is currently supported. Safari outgoing screen sharing is on the backlog, and Firefox outgoing screen sharing is under review.

Being able to join as a guest is a very important feature for Businesses looking to compare Teams with other web conferencing applications. Please enable screen sharing for guests in any browser. Not really sure why a company as big as Microsoft did not think about enabling that feature to compete with other web conferencing software. If you don't MS customers will go to your competitors to meet their business needs.
