Teams is losing out to Zoom and ZoomRooms over this.
Thanks to everyone who volunteered for testing the Office 365 group calendar. The TAP team will be reaching out as we are closer to being ready.
We’re currently working on defining a compact mode experience. I will post more details when we have more to share.
We are getting closer… the team is almost ready to rollout MacOS notification support internally for testing – we hope to have it to the public by the end of this quarter.
We're new to Teams, and I continually get asked about this. Ironically, some LINUX users have stated that their Web browser now gives notifications. . .
I just added the app to my mobile and turned on all notifications there since I always have it on me, but this is another basic failing *(Like custom status or messages from S4B)*
This request is still queued within our backlog. No new details yet.
Hi! I’m happy to let you know this feature is actively being worked on. We’ll keep you posted!

Also would be nice for chat...

I have people at my organization saying the same thing, and I'm trying to get them off Jabber protocol... (not cisco jabber - proper old school jabber)

Thanks for your feedback!
Absolutely. It's such a pain not being able to rename it. We have on-prem IMAP that isn't migrated, and we're trying to get people using teams versus shared folders in IMAP. We
added an email alias to ingest on-prem "staff"@ emails, but our staff then got confused because even though the Team is called STAFF, there are other directly named channels for "attendance@" - "london@" - etc... Why would you NOT allow it to be renamed? ? ?
Thank you for your suggestion! We really appreciate the feedback and idea. We have reviewed this request and started working on it. I’ll let you know as it nears completion.
Mac will allow you to capture expanded strings, but there is a limit to how much you can copy at one time, and if you over-select, then you can't copy, and Teams resets the conversational replies to hidden. It wasn't straight-forward. I will have another go sometime this weekend, but really needed to assist with adoption of Teams
I have Teams on my mac and can highlight long strings and copy, but you miss all of the 4 replies from User1 and User2 stuff as well as there is no support for 'Select All'
We're moving from one tenant to another, and what a pain to lose everything
Item 1 and 2 are Under Review.
Item 3 has been Completed.
I’ll keep you posted as I hear more on this request.
Need Auto-Expand for 'see more' and 'Nx repiies from' along with 'Select All' for copy/paste as there seems to be no other way of migrating teams from one tenant to another.
This should be working via the web client.
Can users confirm if you are still having this issue? Please let me know in the comments below.
Any new update, as my LINUX users continually complain and mention Slack. How about a comment about whether or not true WebRTC will be implemented.
Audio works. Presentations can be viewed, and companion devices can send video if they join the meeting (iPhone/iPad), but native client support for LINUX and/or Video capability via WebRTC (browser independent) is a must...
We know so many of our customers use Linux and we want Teams to be available for everyone. Stay tuned for more information soon.
