There are multiple duplicates for this, which dilutes the votes. Please check https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/32695597-preview-onedrive-or-sharepoint-files and https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/31623916-make-file-links-from-teams-sharepoint-a-tiny-url-w

Anthony, could you give more details on using "teams links" on OneDrive. How do I do that?

I like the way you described the issue. So true.

I agree. Was very surprised to see this wasn't possible. My preferred way of work would be to keep docs in OneDrive, where I can share them directly, or via Teams, at will (even share the same document both directly and to a team via a Teams tab).

There's an entry for adding Planner to the free tier: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/913786-microsoft-teams-free/suggestions/34977325-add-support-for-microsoft-planner
These are related. I'm okay keeping Planner in the paid tier (if it's the business choice from Microsoft), but there should be a discovery route for it.

Also, see [my entry](https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/913786-microsoft-teams-free/suggestions/35144344-cannot-find-planner-and-forms-in-the-free-tier-tea) discussing that free users won't even be able to find Planner, unless they know about it from the paid Teams.

The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.
You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.
Thanks!

I have that use case but haven't missed simultaneous login.
The reason is likely that I wish to schedule my brain for the one or the other. Practically, my solution is like Christian's: native tool for the free, browser for work (in my case).
I would extend this to emails sent to the channel. I wrote one email as a test, it now stands on top of the channel discussion. There is no way to remove it, though I am the organization admin.
