The option to “discard” suggested contacts in your chat list is rolling out to users. We will be making further changes to make suggested contacts more relevant for new users in the future as well, so marking as partially completed. Thanks for your patience with this one.

Another vote for this. We have multiple former employees showing up and there is zero information on how to change this behavior or remove it. Please give us a solution!
This feature request has now moved to “working on it”. The team is actively working on this request and I will share more details as they become available.
This should be a fundamental feature in any chat platform. Teams migrated my contacts over from SfB but they're in completely random order. When I remove and readd a contact, it places them at the bottom by default. This needs fixed.
Hey everyone — Suphatra’s back! And I’m on the case with this item.
I talked to engineering and I think they don’t understand this request. The requests says “Admin App” — do you mean Admin Center? The O365 portal?
Also, what exactly do you envision for central administration — for example — what can you do now, can’t do, and would like to do with this new feature.
Your feedback will help me get the team to put more resources into this. Thank you!
Unfortunately because of changing priorities, this feature was moved to the backlog. The team hopes to pick it up again in the near future.
This item is still in the works.
Also, thank you for the additional feedback. I will circle back to the feature team and provide a new update soon.
Hi — My apologies for the delay in updating this item. We rolled out a fix a year ago for a specific issue of status changing to away in Teams when you were still active on the device. We thought this had fixed the “incorrect status” issue. From comments below, it sounds like people are still seeing issues.
If you are still having issues, it would be super helpful if you can capture logs by typing Ctrl + Shift + Alt + 1, and send the file from your downloads folder along with device info and detailed repro steps to firstname.lastname@example.org.
As we announced at Microsoft Ignite 2019 this morning, we are excited to confirm that Multi-window capabilities are coming to Microsoft Teams, and will start rolling out to the public ring early next year!

We have this issue also. Please give us ANY kind of controls over resizing the incoming video feeds. This can include removing any users from view who haven't turned on their webcams. Our conference rooms are almost getting cut in half going from 16:9 to 1:1 ratios. I have to resize the Teams window for us to see anything past 1:1!
