Thank you for the feedback and waiting for this feature with patience. We have enabled download of a meeting attendance list during a meeting. This is released for general availability. Please note this feature is turned off by default, and needs to be enabled via admin policy.

Note: We are continuing to work on enabling download after a meeting has concluded, as well.

Hello awesome educators. Within the Insights tab educators now have access to engagement data including when students work on assignments, files, conversations/chat, and meetings. Please see this article for additional details:

Hello wonderful educators and students! I read a report recently that nearly 750M students (of the worlds 1.6B students) attend schools that were closed in October due to the global pandemic. Please know that your Microsoft team is listening hard to the needs of this community.
Regarding assignments integration with Calendar, we have made significant progress and look forward to making this available everyone as soon as possible.

Thank you for your continued feedback. Screen sharing on Chrome and Chromium-based Edge is fully supported. For more information, please visit https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/limits-specifications-teams#browsers.
For Safari and Firefox, only incoming screen sharing is currently supported. Safari outgoing screen sharing is on the backlog, and Firefox outgoing screen sharing is under review.

1. Are you looking to “add a tab”? (original request) -> I am looking for a place for the teacher to see attendance. A sepparated tab seams a good solution.
2. Are you looking for a Gradebook-like experience to track student attendance throughout the class? -> Yes, something gradebook like, not only to track the student during one isolated class, but throughout the whole course
3. Will this be used primarily for online classes and online training, or needed for physical classrooms too? -> I need it to online classes.
