I just realized how this capability would make Teams a powerful PDF organizer. Ideally, you could search PDF content as well as annotations and comments, all in the same search interface.

Thanks for following our suggestion to vote this up on SharePoint. It worked! SharePoint has confirmed that they have already started working on this and I’ll be getting an ETA from them after the holidays. -Suphatra

The simplicity of Saved is refreshing. I don't want to have to choose between six options when I click save--there's just one option. But I wish the Teams interface had an icon somewhere indicating that I have saved messages. That way I don't have to schedule a reminder to check my saved messages.

Yes. This in itself is starting to drag down enthusiasm for Teams. It is a very inefficient file browser.

I'd just add that my vote for this doesn't mean Microsoft owes me anything. You are offering an impressive array of software to us, and we appreciate it!
I'm trying to navigate adoption of Teams in our org, and the requests I and others are making on UserVoice have the potential to make that easier. This stands to help Microsoft. We want to be friends and partners.

I like the idea of an Open in Explorer option for a slightly different reason than Todd's. For files already downloaded to the device via OneDrive for Business, Explorer is a faster and more powerful file browsing experience than Teams. But if users want to open a file referred to in Teams, they either need to open it within Teams or online (both essentially the same option) redownloading the file that is already stored on their hard drive. They also have the option to navigate by memory to the directory on their device. An "Open in Explorer" button that would integrate with the locally stored, synced files would be great.

This feature request is still in the works. No additional updates are available at this time. I’ll keep you posted as I hear more.

Yes! I hope I'm not hijacking this thread by adding this: allow files to be edited from the Planner tab either in the Teams app or the desktop version of the Word app.

This would help. I'm currently not sure how to combine the Word comments with Teams chat.
I think this thread is a duplicate: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/33637591-mention-in-comment-in-word It would be great to combine the two.

I came here to vote no on this proposal for the reason Ssssss gave below: the notification center is already cluttered with things that aren't usually important.
That said, I see some good reasons in the comments for making the Teams notifications more persistent.
