We just got Teams in our GCC tenant last week. A few site owners unintentionally added Teams functionality to their Modern Team Site and it created a bunch of confusion and has unwanted effects. As a result we disabled Teams in our tenant. We need a way to delete the Team without deleting the MTS and associated O365 Group before we re-enable Teams in our tenant. Please hurry - we have one group of users that loves the Teams functionality after 3 days of using it and now they cannot use it!Joe supported this idea ·
Office > Admin > Admin Centers > SharePoint > Try the Preview > Site Management
That will identify all the Team Sites (Teams use Team Sites), but currently there is no indication that they are Teams (some are simply Modern Team Sites).
This would be a great place to add an indication that they are a Team or have been converted to a Team.
In Office > Admin > Groups, try adding a new owner to the O365 Group associated with the Team.
What if a Team is created from an existing Group? If you delete the Team it should leave the Group and the SharePoint site.
