    ANdroid phone, chrome browser all MSFT APPS loaded and up to date

    If in teams channel file tab and get link to channel, link looks like this https://teams.microsoft.com/_#/files/.....
    Sharing this link to someone with android/chrome/teams and onedrive app installed will state the error in this post
    "Hmm. Your browser version isn't supported. Quickest solution? Download the mobile app." (the app is installed)

    opening files in sharepoint and copy link from share point looks like this "https://yourdomain.sharepoint.com/..... " will work, loads file view in teams/onedrive app, nice

    If in teams channel conversations tab and get link to channel looks like this "https://teams.microsoft.com/l/channel/...." will open the proper teams conversation channel in teams app...

    Why does sharing teams link of files channel fail on Android/chrome, yet succeeds for conversation and sharepoint links?

    I found a poor workaround, download chrome beta, when it fails with error, direct chrome beta to open as "desktop", UX is very small but it does open file directory.

    Maybe it's related here, at least some comments state similar issue, also indicating this is not just an android/chrome issue

    agree with the anon request below that the post is no longer accurate;

    The blogpost https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/skypehybridguy/2017/10/28/microsoft-teams-use-an-existing-sharepoint-library/

    I have found a work around for my needs by adding "Document Library" tab and that tab has ability to use link of existing sharepoint documents, once in that teams tab you can open in sharepoint and see all the sharepoint site

    if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies. We will keep this request in mind as we evolve the cross-posting feature in the future and update if the status changes.

    Details on cross posting can be found here: https://support.office.com/article/cross-post-a-channel-conversation-in-teams-9c1252a3-67ef-498e-a7c1-dd7147b3d295.

    The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.

    You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.

    Thanks!

    This is a very important requirement. I've been able to have one company in S4B but they've just moved to Teams (as requested by MSFT). I have another company on the Teams client and two other companies on teams using separate browsers. Instead of moving to Slack, when will this two year old feature request be released?
