I can't believe this doesn't have more votes. The current method of accepting a meeting invite is unnecessarily tedious.
This would be far more efficient
This feature request is still on in the backlog. No new updates available at this time.
I can't copy-paste images from Teams to external programs (e.g. Outlook) and vice versa - it just presents a blank block. Apparently this is for copyright reasons, but if so it is futile as I can just use the Shift+Win+S key to bypass.
Hi! I’m happy to let you know this feature is actively being worked on. We’ll keep you posted!
Alex & The Teams team
It would be nice if we could vote up comments on Uservoice subjects.
It would be great to be able to also record meetings where everyone is in one boardroom, with AI being able to differentiate between users using voice recognition from one recording device, so that minutes can still be kept this way.
Please check “Teams/Skype Consumer chat and calling interop” on the public roadmap at microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters.. for updates.
We want to upgrade from Skype Consumer to Teams but many senior members and the directors board are reluctant to, as then they will need to run two platforms. One to contact SfB and Teams contacts, and another to contact suppliers and clients who may not have the subscription software. If that's the case it will prevent our, and others adoption of the software.
I was of the impression that Teams was a collaboration platform that was meant to simplify team work and make it more efficient. It would be ideal if I could do most 'chat' communication (Outlook, Skype Consumer, SfB through Teams, so that I have one "communication/collaboration management" program. Otherwise it doesn't simplify things, but rather makes it more complicated and less likely to be adopted in the long term?
The feature team is still reviewing, there is lots of discussion about this item and I hope to have a decision soon.
This request is still on the backlog.
It would be nice to be able to contact REGULAR skype users through Teams, so that I don't have to run two platforms to interact with non-Teams users.
We know you are patiently waiting for this feature. This feature is being implemented in stages. Fast tenant switching is currently in testing both internally and with early customers. We expect to release to the public in the Fall. I’ll post an update once it’s rolling out.
Full multi-tenant, multi-user support will be added after fast tenant switching.
