This continues to be a significant need. Most of our collaboration is with a subset of another team not a subset of our own team

We’re all working remotely, the entire globe is practically, this needs to be prioritized and implemented with immediacy.

Please bring this off of the backlog and prioritize working on it -- this is a critical component for holding meetings with attendees outside the group, also meetings in a Teams channel, sharing OneNote meeting minutes with a larger group of attendees, it can also help with collaborative Planner plans.

Thanks for Private Channels 1.0! Now, this is the other half of the coin, the yin to the yang, the PB to the J... and hopefully is very high on the development list for what's next to deliver.

Microsoft has roadmapped capabilities to bring over to Teams from Skype for Business (SFB). This should be part of that SFB equivalency development work.

if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies. We will keep this request in mind as we evolve the cross-posting feature in the future and update if the status changes.

Details on cross posting can be found here: https://support.office.com/article/cross-post-a-channel-conversation-in-teams-9c1252a3-67ef-498e-a7c1-dd7147b3d295.

The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.

You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.

    Thanks!

    - Channel only members: to enable collaboration with people outside the team in a specific channel, without granting them access to the team itself. https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/31374577

This needs to be upvoted. Users need to be able to share and know where a file is located... that's often the purpose of searching for a file

"where is that file called ***"

Adding email as a left tab panel remains under review. We are working on adding several Teams and email integrations:

    - Share to Teams: Share a copy of an email and any attachments into a chat or channel directly from Outlook

    - Share to Outlook: Share a copy of a channel or chat conversation via email directly from Teams

    - Actionable Teams Activity Emails: Teams missed activity emails display the latest replies and allow you to reply directly from Outlook

See this post for more information:

The team has delivered improvements to the New Meeting experience in Calendar such as optional attendees, richer custom recurrence UX, as well as enhanced meeting RSVPs.

Thank you for your patience with this ask. This is a feature is available on Teams web client now. We are currently testing the functionality of extending drag and drop support of file attachment directly from Outlook to Teams app. We will share an update as soon as one is available.

This is a significant bug (inconvenience if you prefer) with obvious implications the longer a channel has been utilized.
    1. Renaming the channel without renaming the back-end folder creates user confusion
    2. Renaming the back-end folder breaks the link and browsing files is no longer possible

There needs to be either an "Owner" capability to repair or choose a specific folder to assign to the Files tab
    AND/OR
There needs to be a GUID or other property that marks a folder with it's appropriate channel such that renaming on either end does not impact the association
