Thank you for your continued feedback, we have not forgotten about this ask. We have a feature on the backlog for popping out content, so you will be able to see one screen with the video gallery and one screen with the shared content. We will share an update as soon as one is available.

For the separate feature ask for full screen option, please upvote and comment at https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103/suggestions/41277121

For split screen camera and desktop, please upvote and comment at https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103/suggestions/37118773

Hi, would this allow us to full-screen popped out screen sharing windows? We are looking for a long-term communication tool like teams which would allow us to view shared screens at 1:1 pixel ratio assuming we can match the resolution of the stream source.

With the latest update the "new meeting experience" seems to have disappeared and the actions bar has permanently lodged itself at the top. When in full-screen mode, this is irritating as the full-screen video is still not 1:1 pixel ratio when using the same size monitor as the person sharing. With full-screen + focus enabled, the bar still forces the full-screen video to not be full-screen. It starts below the top bar, and I can't find any way to hide the top bar. Why don't Microsoft understand that we just want to see a full-screen screen share covering our full screen real-estate with NO bars showing at all, or at least have a small bar overlapping the video instead of forcing it to shrink size and have borders on the left and right of it. Having the pixels 1:1 is quite important for our team with graphic design and code sharing.

I think what might help in the meantime is including in the description of the new experience in Teams: "removes the ability to view videos full-screen" so that when people opt in to try video calls showing in new windows that they aware of this feature being removed. There are already 3 people on my team alone at work who had this happen and were confused why the option to try videos popping out in a new window was related to losing the ability to go full-screen. In my opinion this is a bug, and shouldn't be a user voice vote. It should just be fixed by Microsoft regardless.

I asked my colleague if she wanted a coffee and her reply was "coffee made n drunk already". There was no response that could express my reply.

Thank you for your continued feedback. We are continuously improving the clients to use less memory and RAM.

The upgrade to Electron 10 has rolled out fully to the public at this point. Telemetry and testing has shown that this is helping to improve memory performance on the client.

We will continue to work on improvements, and will share more updates as they become available.

For more details on how Teams currently uses memory, please visit https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/teams-memory-usage-perf.

We shouldn't have to vote on this as a feature. It is a bug, and fundamentally shows the software is not working.
