Good news! This is in the works.
A fix for this is being worked on. We hope to have a fix in internal Microsoft rings soon for testing. I don’t have a timeline for release externally at this point, but will keep you posted.
Screen sharing on Edge, and Chrome browser is supported now. We also have released support for joining meetings from Safari, Firefox and IE browsers, with some limitations. The team is still reviewing this item. I hope to know of a decision soon.
Instead of adding more and more questionable quality 3rd party apps to the store you should really nail the Microsoft ecosystem interoperability such as this MS Project integration.
Please check “Teams/Skype Consumer chat and calling interop” on the public roadmap at microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters.. for updates.
Am I right thinking this was possible with Skype for Business, and now the Teams, which replaces it, does not support calls to regular Skype anymore? That's one way to shoot yourself in the foot.
Microsoft Whiteboard App is in preview. Rollout to public users will be coming soon. You can find more details here:
You are phasing out Skype for Business, which has whiteboard, pools, Q&A etc. but this is not available in Teams yet? We are trying to stick to MS O365 but this makes is soo hard. It's sad, really, I've seen article somewhere last year talking about that S4B and Teams functionality parity has been achieved.
We know you are patiently waiting for this feature. This feature is being implemented in stages. Fast tenant switching is currently in testing both internally and with early customers. We expect to release to the public in the Fall. I’ll post an update once it’s rolling out.
Full multi-tenant, multi-user support will be added after fast tenant switching.
Many other feedbacks are just too improve quality of use, this is, however, key deciding factor why my client doesn't way to embrace teams, even though they use 365E1, because it's paint to log out and in for different accounts.
