I don't know if there's another way but the only one I found to close Teams is to right click the tray icon and use the Quit there. However many times the toolbar contextual menu appears rather than the Teams one I have to do a right click again on the icon to quit. Would it be simpler that just clicking the RED X in the upper right corner, closes the app and Minimizing would just put it on the tray ?
This suggestion is still planned. I don’t have further updates on timing, but will share as we have them. Thanks.
Exactly what I was about to write as a new idea. Thumbs up. Actually there's no purposes at all for this field other than seeing it when editing the channel. Exactly the right place I was thinking. Just with a small font under the channel title on the right pane.
Very easy to do even if it's not a priority, this would please many people I know.
Yes please give us an option ASAP to clear an entire channel of all the conversations which are sometimes tests and polluting the channel when we go live
We need to be able to delete all the conversations of a channel as well. Let say we have an important channel that we don't want to delete and create again but we started by testing it now it's all polluted with tests. Yes deleting all the conversations of a channel is required as well. Thank you
If I understand this feature request, you want to reply to an existing message in a channel ?
Let say I send that an application gave a faulty result. Later I would like to reply to this same message to say that the faulty result was resolved. I'm wondering how the whole workflow of that would work in order to keep an id or something of this sent message it would become a mess, specially having a service processing a lot of data sending many faulty or even already good result to this channel !

The zoom feature has released to the public ring. Using CRTL + or CTRL – zoom in and out on a Windows PC.
I need to correct the information I provided last month about MAC. It appears the MAC version is still in testing and hasn’t yet gone out to the public. It is “In Testing” but will be coming to the public soon!
The item tracking this specific update can be found at: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/admin/v3/suggestions/16933183/activity
There now is a UI element that tells you your current zoom level and a Setting within the UI to preset your zoom preference.
Since the zoom feature could very well cover the vast majority of user needs, based on the majority of comments and feedback, I will flag this item as Partially Done.
Thank you for all the feedback and support!
I think people are many times and very often talking about Web version of Teams. what about desktop. Everything we read isn't working on Desktop version. Also this zoom is the browser zoom not Teams zoom. I want to increase the font size of a chat not the entire browser as well as I want it on Desktop. Why this very tiny thing doesn't exist in Teams. As a developer I honestly don't understand.
If I may, I thing just right click, set flag which ask a name for the flag thus for instance all the files that are times developed on a project could be set to billed so next time we know which one needs to be billed. Asking for the name could help having any custom flag by the name
Hey everyone! We have this already. Just click the ellipses next to the thread name and select “Hide”.
Note that we cannot provide a “hard delete” due to eDiscovery and other legal reasons.
I want this feature please
I was about to write a new one but this is exactly the problem I face often with MT. For instance if I go to TEAMS tab and let say I open an Excel file, if someone chat me in CHAT tab when I come back in TEAMS TAB I lost the file that was opened. Very bad design and need a fix ASAP.
