The team is working on fixing date/time format to honor your computer settings. Please stay tuned for further updates.

This is simply not acceptable for a application in production not to separate application language an date/number formats

Then to agree with 'Mad':
What "UserVoice"?
There obviously is no one monitoring this request to fix this design flaw.
This forum only exists to placate users, by giving them a place to vent.

Here you have the screenshot with a little more detail than Jeff's

This is so useless! I cannot find the file as the last part of the path is missing.
Please fix Microsoft!!! This cannot take more than a few minutes to fix?
Please show the last element - or at least as a mouse over so I don't have to guess.

Unfortunately because of changing priorities, this feature was moved to the backlog. The team hopes to pick it up again in the near future.

To quote the previous comment on this one:
"I cannot believe that's not even a feature. It's suppose to be the base to ask where I want to put the download.
you're all really working with Microsoft??"

This continues to be on our backlog due to prioritization of other work items. We will update when there is more to share.

This is feeling like a joke or something from Microsoft's side.

Could you please share your backlog so we may have an idea to understand why a COMPLETELY BASIC FEATURE like this has been on the backlog more or less since the inception of Microsoft Teams?
Will Jeff (@jeffteper) come with a product statement?

I suggest you always click 'tweet' when you access a topic here. It may eventually get to the attention of Microsoft that working on this for 4 years with not progress is not how we want our software supplier to work.

I have started tweeting the comments I receive by email every time there is a comment on one of my items here.
Just do the same and use #MicrosoftTeams

Work has been done by the team to add support for partial strings. They are continuing to work on improving the experience.

And now PowerPoint files are not indexed anymore. Only their title :(

Come one ... I cannot find the places where people write 'spreadsheet' in one word, when I search for 'spread'.
An error occurred while saving the comment Christian commented
Search for 'risiko' matches 'risikovurdering' in files, but not in messages.
Come on ... this makes search so USELESS

We are working on a design with more density in mind. Until this design is solidified we are putting this item back to Under Review.

Dear Ulf - and very body else who have commented on this rather basic thing to do in Teams, please tweet this using #MicrosoftTeams and @jeffteper as tags.
I have tried getting focus on this through the local MD in my country => /dev/null
So give it a try this way.

I just want the link of the document I have found via Search (wow - search worked). THAT IS NOT POSSIBLE!!!!
I have to open the folder, which is ALSO NOT AVAILABLE FROM SEARCH and then I can get a link to the document.
Dear Microsoft, get this fixed or kill Teams
Tell Jeff that I really want to tell him about our frustrations with Teams.

Basic feature. Just the ability to move a file to a sub folder and a folder to a sub folder would be great.
Maybe the two most basic use cases for moving in a folder structure?

I cannot move a file. The dialogs that come are useless and not helping the user on what to do.
I always end up opening SharePoint, where I can drag and drop and it just works, when I want to move a file to a sub folder.

And I can't even Copy the file from Files and Paste it into the user's chat :(
An error occurred while saving the comment Christian commented
Completely basic use case:
Share the file directly from Files to one user as a chat message with link to the document. "Hey John, this is the presentation we need to update before we shared it".
This is impossible today and sort defy the idea of sharing documents with individuals for review.
Come on Microsoft - this cannot be hard. Add context menu "Share to user..."

Very basic feature for an application like Teams.
Preview does neither count as 'Recent' nor 'Microsoft Teams' which would make sense. I view the file so is recent in Microsoft Teams.
To make it work I have to download it, but that defies the purpose of having a Files list.

I have recorded an online meeting. The recording is ready in the chat of the meeting.
I am missing two IMPORTANT things:
1. Download directly as option on the context menu
2. Copy to Team/Channel/File/...Once again we have the feeling that you don't ask users what they do with Teams.
