The team has updated the default sound for Teams notifications so it is more noticeable. We are in final testing, with a goal to release the new sound by the end of this quarter.

I work from home in an empty apartment (no pets, no kids, just me). I can barely hear the Skype phone ring above the dull din of my ceiling fan. Lord forbid you work in an office environment or something more loud. It boggles my mind that they expect the average human to be able to hear this!
