We put on a worldwide event tour and leveraged our MVPs to run individual events. We needed them all to have access to Teams. Probably 10% of them had access issues when invites were sent. Also, even the process of sending invites is hit and miss - it throws errors a LOT. The guest invite/authentication flow needs work.
When I was making standup meetings for a team recently, in order for them to show up on Outlook and invite the entire team I had to create the meeting in Outlook and add each member of the team individually. We couldn't figure out how to add the entire team to a meeting invite and have it show on Outlook.
Scrollbar is awful. When using it in a busy channel it jumps around too much when controlling with mouse drag. Should use standard control so individual clicks can be used to step gradually through the content.
This feature request is working its way through the backlog queue. No new details are available yet.
This is still being worked upon. I hope to have more details in the next couple months.
Please know the team is actively working on this feature.
I recently worked on a busy project with 40+ channels and 250 people in the Team, and a LOT of them had things for me to do. Not all of them could be done at the same time. I need a way to do the equivalent of leaving things in my inbox or adding them to a task list. My workflow looked like "go through the activity feed to see what showed up overnight, handle what I could immediately, and WRITE ON A POST-IT what had to wait." Silly.
Performance has been and continues to be a big focus area for Teams. One main area we have made improvements in is responsiveness for the most frequent user actions of switching between Chat, Channel, and Activity. We are also focused on reducing resource consumption and application load time. More improvements are on the way.
This request is still in the works. And it appears most people are interested in the ability to pin multiple items. I’ll circle back to the feature team and give them your additional feedback.
multiple. If you're working on a project, you might need to pin a few posts to the top with key info or conversations
