Thank you for your feedback! We are updating this as “Partialy Done” as our first step to solving for pinned posts has been released! Pinned posts allows users from a team to pin a message for everyone in the channel to be able to easily reference. While any message can be pinnable, we expect our users to use this feature to pin information like channel guidelines or important announcements. We know this doesn’t solve all pinning scenarios, and that there is still a need to make this easier for users to find, especially within the message list. We will share another update as soon as it is available.

if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies. We will keep this request in mind as we evolve the cross-posting feature in the future and update if the status changes.

Details on cross posting can be found here: https://support.office.com/article/cross-post-a-channel-conversation-in-teams-9c1252a3-67ef-498e-a7c1-dd7147b3d295.

Due to a priority shift this request has slipped to the backlog. I hate to bring bad news. I will continue to provide the feature team your feedback and votes.
Hopefully this will move back up in the queue soon.

I love the Public announcements type channel. Along with this, a CALENDAR that can only be edited by admins.

    Example: Vacations

We are now preparing for the roll out of Tasks in Teams which will integrate additional features integrating To-Do and Planner. This includes additional list views that also extend to tabs in teams. Further announcements about additional integration in our overall Tasks coherence effort will follow.

You can follow the rollout via our Roadmap item: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=57213. To see a preview of the experience, please visit https://youtu.be/rTATVGroEsQ.

Adding email as a left tab panel remains under review. We are working on adding several Teams and email integrations:

    - Share to Teams: Share a copy of an email and any attachments into a chat or channel directly from Outlook

    - Share to Outlook: Share a copy of a channel or chat conversation via email directly from Teams

    - Actionable Teams Activity Emails: Teams missed activity emails display the latest replies and allow you to reply directly from Outlook

See this post for more information:

Created team from a group: Opened "files" "in sharepoint" online and synced it locally. I tried dropping files in; they all created sync conflicts. I removed them, then later looked online and the files were in Teams and Sharepoint online, the local directory was empty. An hour later the "general" folder showed up in Group site. Locally it was empty, online it showed the files I'd dropped in earlier.

Same problem on 3 of our office computers. Creating a new user account fixed the problem. These three computers had one thing in common: a hashtag (#) in the username. Coincidence? Or does a # in the directory cause Teams to not work?

Just installed it on 6 office computers. Three of them do not work. These three computers had numbered users (#1, #2, #3) created! They're the only computers with a # in the name. I created a new user for two of them now and both of those are working.

It may be the # in the directory name.
