    if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies. We will keep this request in mind as we evolve the cross-posting feature in the future and update if the status changes.

    I'm definitely in the same boat, I want to be able to move & consolidate some older conversations & channels into a newer structure and copying all the content and conversations now would be really annoying.

    I use OneDrive to synch files and work with them locally and have them managed/copied to the cloud automatically. It would great to have Teams work the same way. So that I can work and manage against my "local" cached copy of the file which is automatically uploaded to the files on my team channel.
