This feature request is now in the planning stage. As more details become available, I will post them here.

Absolutely agree. Shortcut to "My Tasks" in Planner would be a great improvement and make work on the Teams platform even more inclusive. Currently you have to click on the three dots, click on Planner, and then go to My Tasks.

Absolutely agree. The more apps you integrate in Teams, the more annoying the clicking and switching between apps becomes. To make this work properly, you would almost have to use the Internet browser principle of having different tabs for active sessions, i.e. not the existing tabs within a channel but tabs for Planner, Wiki, e.g. two active channels, a chat, etc.

Yes, please. Being able to communicate with all Skype users (including consumer edition) is a must for a holistic collaboration platform, especially with Skype being a Microsoft product.

I just tested this again and the following seems to be the problem:

On Windows 7, you are alerted about new messages even if you remain in the same chat thread but are no longer on Teams (i.e. working in another application). In the bottom right section of the screen, a pop-up appears for a few second with the new message content and once this pop-up disappears, the Teams icon in the taskbar blinks.

On Windows 10, however, the behavior is different and it is easy to miss new messages. New messages in the active chat/channel thread are not alerted or highlighted when you are in a different application. Teams apparently thinks the user is still actively using Teams and therefore does not require a pop-up alert with subsequent blinking of the Teams icon. Hope the developers can clean this up.

In the course of a gradual rollout, we are now stuck with some live channels that are nested in testing teams and that should be transferred to live teams. Not having this function makes the rollout of Teams quite cumbersome. Moving a channel from one team to another should be a top-priority feature with ever more Teams users testing application.

After testing Teams within a specific test group, we would now like to move specific channels (incl. all tabs) to live groups as part of the official rollout. But this does not seem possible for the time being. At other times, I could imagine starting on a channel with a project team and as it matures it needs to get a wider audience, thus making it necessary to move the channel to a different/larger team.

Absolutely necessary. Projects are often started in smaller teams and then have to be reviewed by larger audiences/teams.

This is still being worked upon. I hope to have more details in the next couple months.

Please know the team is actively working on this feature.

Users should be able to configure exactly what shows in the Files section that is shortcut in the left side panel, e.g. adding favorites for certain SharePoint (sub)sites, additional cloud storage (not just out of the box), allowing both Business OneDrive and personal OneDrive to be added here.

Yes, please. Same approach as in Outlook where you can set whether or not a message is automatically marked as read, as well as time delays. Currently a mere switching back and forth between applications mark message on the current Teams screen as read. I find myself manually marking messages as unread quite often, so as not to forget messages I have to get back to.

If Teams is supposed to be the main work environment, the user will receive more messages at a given moment than can be processed, which is why the read/unread behavior needs to be customizable to user preference.

Currently, comments that are added in the bottom section of the integrated Planner task are broadcast to all channel group members instead of merely the ones assigned to this task. This should be configurable because such comments are generally meant for the task assignees. Could not find any notification settings in Planner.
