We have been iterating on different designs and are starting to test internally. I don’t have a timeframe but will keep you posted.
This item is still under review. I’ll keep following up with the feature team and sharing all your feedback.
You should experience significant improvements in copy & paste of images within Teams, as well as to & from Teams. We are aware of a few remaining issues, but the most common cases are resolved.
Thanks again for your patience on this one.RedJ commented
This is absolutely NOT fixed. It is still not possible to copy images from the desktop version of Teams to another app.
Open a chat with an image in the stream, click the image to enlarge to full size, right click and select "Copy Image" - the image will be blank in the clipboard manager and is not pasteable to other apps (either blank or not pasteable). I suspect it is not being placed in the clipboard with the correct clipboard format.
I have tried pasting from Teams to Photoshop, Word, and a new Outlook message and none work.
This is still in the works. I don’t have a timeline yet, but I hope to have some more details to share in the coming weeks.
I know how important this and am working on getting more feedback for you.
Crazy this is a problem in the first place, but even harder to believe there is no messaging regarding the true nature of the problem "That isn't a valid URL" is not only inaccurate, but also not helpful for fixing the problem.
It's been over half a year since an update was supposed to be mere weeks away. What's going on with this?
