For anyone who has to manage a large team that has new private channels added over time, the way to manage channel membership is almost impossible. There's no way to export a list of team members or even reference them to ensure the correct ones are added to the private channel. You just have to know the list by heart. Please fix this, seems like an easy one!

For me, this issue is occurring with domain users (not guests). Newly added team members cannot be added to a private channel that was created prior to them being added to the team. The only successful workaround has been using the mobile app.

I love Teams, but PLEASE for the love of all that is holy... please fix this. There is NO WAY this can only be resolved with user training in a large organization. It happens so frequently with all different levels of users, As a PM I find it near impossible to track issues, activities, or keep on top of latest information. It is the single most deterring factor in driving end user adoption, as it fuels the "Teams is too LOUD for me to look at" complaints and contributes to missed notifications, etc. It's borderline bug behavior that we have to scroll down to see the reply button which is obscured by the "Start a new conversation" field on longer threads. Please reprioritize this and fix it soon. PLEASE.

Restricting the ability to start a new conversation should be a setting that is applicable both to specific channels and specific individuals. For instance, preventing Guests from being able to start a new conversation, or preventing everyone from starting new conversations in the General channel.

The option to “discard” suggested contacts in your chat list is rolling out to users. We will be making further changes to make suggested contacts more relevant for new users in the future as well, so marking as partially completed. Thanks for your patience with this one.

We are working on the release of the Tasks application in Microsoft Teams that will aggregate data from Microsoft To-Do, Planner and Outlook with more capabilities on the way. You can see Planner data in Kanban views today, and the Tasks app will continue to support that view. In January we announced task publishing which will release with the new app. Get an overview at https://youtu.be/rTATVGroEsQ.
