+1 to work with the School Data Sync team on this so that we can include that information for students and teachers. We use our SIS to file this data and then sync it out to multiple subsystems, including our LMS. Adding it to Microsoft 365 and Azure AD via SDS would be great.

I've used DeckLink > OBS > Virtual Camera before, and it was rough. It worked but I'd never use it for something critical and/or unmonitored by a "producer." Having Teams be able to natively use DeckLink input would be amazing for some of our events. In the meantime we use a Blackmagic Web Presenter. Its only downside is that it only supports 720p USB video, but it works flawlessly with anything that reads a webcam.

Thank you for your continued feedback, we have not forgotten about this ask. The feature remains on our backlog. We will share an update as soon as one is available.

In the meantime, you can try using the keyboard shortcut to toggle mute (Ctrl+Shift+M). For more information on keyboard shortcuts, please visit https://support.microsoft.com/office/keyboard-shortcuts-for-microsoft-teams-2e8e2a70-e8d8-4a19-949b-4c36dd5292d2.

This may have been resolved in a recent release of Teams. A similar error was produced after a change to A1 licenses that disabled Stream-based recordings of meetings. Microsoft 365 Message Center message #TM220922 indicates that problem, which has the exact same symptoms for a programmatically similar issue, was resolved on September 3.

We just had our our first two large meetings and have this same type of issue. One thing consistent to us is that the meetings are being created by inviting a distribution list (from Exchange) and not by entering individual attendees.

We're starting to use Teams for simple remote user support. Many of our users have two screens, and some have three. We'd like a way to share all screens during a session so that we can navigate the entire user's computer.
