But the team is hard at work to ensure it is implemented in a fashion that will meet your expectations.
Most votes on user voice, yet not on the road map. GG Microsoft.

ETA? Sorry I missed the Over 9000 vote day party.
Private Channels! Please?
What's worse is the extra overhead of groups as well! Literally have six groups in O365 for one department. They just wanted a private chat room... Database Team, Systems and Support, Systems, IT, Web Development, Internal Development. This is ridiculous...
This was the second question asked when presenting Microsoft Teams.
Look, you can have a team room with channels!
Can I create a private channel with other supervisors? ...No. Hopefully soon? But I already lost the excitement from the user cause they started thinking of how many private teams they would need to create.
Please release this soon.

Makes me worry about the lack of development on top voted features.
I want to assure you that overall performance, speed, cpu, memory, etc. are all being worked upon.
We want to get these improvements to you ASAP – and so are releasing fixes as they are made, which in turn will snowball into a larger improved feel. (As opposed to holding these in earlier rings, and then doing a big bang update.)
Please know that the feature team is hard at work on dozens of items to make these improvements. We’re seeing great gains in performance in earlier rings of deployment, and you will soon see these improvements as they’re released to further rings.
Again, it won’t be a single update that’ll address all the concerns, and it will take time. But gains are steadily and surely coming.
This feature is still in the works. No additional details are yet available. I’ll update this thread once I hear more.
Thank you all for the feedback!
