Thank you for your feedback. We are continually looking to bring performance boosts to the Mac Client, including improvements with Electron 10 that are releasing. We are also aggressively addressing other areas of performance around the Mac client

It seems we've found a workaround.

If you use Chrome or Brave, you can:
    - Open MS Teams in the browser
    - On the top-right menu choose: More Tools > Create Shortcut
    - Check the "open as window" checkbox and create the shortcut
    - Profit

This will make a pseudo-app, which seems to work just fine, and will bypass the Electron layer. Since you already have the browser open most of the time, resources are shared between your websites and teams instead of being loaded into the memory twice. Some of us are having a much more pleasant experience like this.

    Hope this helps, cheers!

I'm also seeing the same issues as @Tommiy. When I change the display scaling to the default setting, the performance hit seems to be a little less noticeable.

Teams is still very slow, but the display scaling seems to aggravate the issue, specially when screen sharing.

Thank you for your continued feedback! We are happy to share that we have rolled out 800+ emojis to our Desktop and Web platforms, with Mobile rolling out in the coming months. This update includes 6 skin tone options, different genders for applicable emojis, and emojis featuring people with disabilities. Please note that you can also add native OS emojis using “Win + .” shortcut in Windows and “Cmd + Ctrl + Space” in MacOS.

Today, you can add a custom meme with your own caption in the Sticker/Memes feature. To learn more, please visit https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/send-an-emoji-gif-or-sticker-in-teams-174248c9-e64d-4de1-9f41-3199cc0751ad.

The notation with parenthesis is unintuitive, it would be interesting to know why wouldn't you use the same notation as everyone else.

Probably because you don't want to fix the skype emoji notation, that replaces ":)" with the emoji as soon as you type it, and not on send. I think it is a shame. You should copy slack's/whatsapp's/signal's/telegram's implementation of this.

if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies. We will keep this request in mind as we evolve the cross-posting feature in the future and update if the status changes.

Details on cross posting can be found here: https://support.office.com/article/cross-post-a-channel-conversation-in-teams-9c1252a3-67ef-498e-a7c1-dd7147b3d295.

    Dear Microsoft,
I don't want to sound mean, but your strategy on emoji-based communication is beyond comprehension. Why would you use only Skype emoticons instead of full emoji support? People expect you to perhaps copy and improve upon one of the most loved features of Slack, instead you went for something that will leave most people that asked you for this feature beyond annoyed.

I really want to like Teams, but it seems MS is focused on making it as boring as possible. Please reconsider.

    With love, Leo

    Hello David,
A couple questions on your form have no ideal option. Example:
"Do you want to group channels into categories or group teams into categories?
    - I want to group my channels under custom categories
    - I want to group my teams under custom categories"

Well, I don't want to group any of them, I want microsoft to sort them in a intelligent way per default. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This is still under review, no decision has been made. But I will keep following up with the feature team and providing them your feedback.

Just to reiterate what was already said. Please take a look at the Slack "direct to" feature. MS Teams feels just glacially slow when you want to quickly get in and out of a lot of chats/teams.
