So surprised only Meet Now works on a private channel. Please change this limitation.

I’m excited to announce that a new Large Gallery view, with the ability to see up to 49 participant in a meeting, is coming soon to Teams! Large Gallery will release as an optional (preview) feature that can be turned on at any time during a meeting. Large Gallery has a flexible design and will deliver a network-optimized client video experience that works on multiple device categories. During the preview, the Large Gallery experience will be available for desktop Teams client on both Windows & Mac, as well as for mobile Teams client (iOS, Android) users.

Large Gallery will begin rolling out with the new pop-out meetings experience for desktop clients in early July, and we are targeting full availability including mobile clients for iOS and Android by early September.

For more details, check out the Roadmap item: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=&searchterms=65333.

    Thanks,
    Alex & the Teams team

Here's what I hear from users: Zoom can already do this! Why can't we switch to Zoom?!

Audio conferencing is allowed for Business Premium. Not all of MS documents have been updated.

It looks like Phone System for Business Premium and Business Essentials is coming.

    This document here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/teams-add-on-licensing/office-365-business-premium

    Says this:

If you decide to buy an Enterprise E5 license, it includes a Phone System license. If you use an Enterprise E1 or E3 license or an Office 365 Business Essentials or Office 365 Business Premium licsense you will need to buy the Phone System add-on.

For me, my Logitech webcam C310 at home and one at work was fine with Teams. I could switch between it and the built in camera on my Surface Book 1. Then all of a sudden in the last 2 or 3 week the Logitech webcam lights up but no video. Uninstalling the webcam and/or teams did nothing. It works on teams on other computers like surface laptops and even another surface book 1. Strange, strange, strange.

try this instead  ·  Suphatra responded

I really like the suggestion of creating an alarm on a message, so you come back to it. I’ve passed this on to our engineering team.

Meanwhile, here’s another feature you can utilize for the same purpose — use our “bookmark” button, which is in the upper right corner of every message. This will save that message or thread directly to your profile. To access your saved messages, just click your face in the upper left corner of the product. You’ll see a tab in the left rail that says “Saved.” This is like a list of little reminders.

    Hope that helps! :-)

I have a surface book 1 with the NVideo video upgrade and same thing happens to me with front camera. I cannot use the camera app - I get an error that the camera cant be used by both apps. I am on Teams version 1.0
