Hey everyone — Suphatra’s back! And I’m on the case with this item.
I talked to engineering and I think they don’t understand this request. The requests says “Admin App” — do you mean Admin Center? The O365 portal?
Also, what exactly do you envision for central administration — for example — what can you do now, can’t do, and would like to do with this new feature.
Your feedback will help me get the team to put more resources into this. Thank you!
Suphatra

We are running into this now and not having the ability to recreate the full conversation. This may be an issue if we are to deploy teams organization-wide trying to piece together a defense to a lawsuit when the context for individual comments cannot be proven.

Once support for Windows 10 native notifications is released, users who choose to use Windows notifications will be able to utilize Windows OS specific settings for the length of time to display notifications. Mac does not have an OS specific setting, so will not have the support.

We are having challenges as we try to move the organization to teams due to notification options. Having a persistent notification with the app on the taskbar or in the icon section until reviewed would go a long way. The number one requests related to incoming chats are having the taskbar item blink the way Outlook does for an upcoming meeting and having the ability to set a color change in in the Teams window for the chat that has updated as opposed to it just going bold.

You should experience significant improvements in copy & paste of images within Teams, as well as to & from Teams. We are aware of a few remaining issues, but the most common cases are resolved.
Thanks again for your patience on this one.

We do not receive a copy option for the web or desktop application. It only shows open online, download, or get link. If we open the image we receive the "Copy image" option but it also just places a blank box (Transparent with no fill).

We are getting closer, and are still working thru some bugs, but hope to release this as part of a Public Preview pack in early 2021! (Windows 10 released with the December 2020 pack this week)
You can learn more about the new Microsoft Teams Public Preview program here: https://aka.ms/TeamsPublicPreview, and Teams administrators can find documentation to manage which users will see the Public Preview option here: https://aka.ms/TeamsPublicPreviewAdmin

We need the message conversation to come up as a thread as well. Using the messages that get stored in email is likely weak at best from a compliance and legal defense standpoint because the context around the message is lost. When pulling up a message we should get the chat as a thread like the end users would see it with notations regarding changes as opposed to as individual emails.
