This is absurd that this is not the default. It's almost like the team that makes Teams doesn't actually use the tool. Everyone at my company has already abandoned Teams for group communication and went back to email. It's now worthless. It's basically worse than AIM.

By far the worst/dumbest thing about teams is that you're not automatically subscribed to desktop/push notifications for a "Team" that you're on. You have to click the ellipses and go to "follow this channel". Every channel you're added to should be follow by default with the option to unfollow. Just like when someone starts a groupchat in the chat section. This basic oversight causes so many stupid little headaches at my company and I'm sure for many others

You should experience significant improvements in copy & paste of images within Teams, as well as to & from Teams. We are aware of a few remaining issues, but the most common cases are resolved.
Thanks again for your patience on this one.

This feature request has moved to the planning stage. There have also been several small updates that have gone out already, as well.
I’ll keep you posted as I hear more about coming updates.

We’re updating our command library all the time, so keep checking the menu in the command box to see what’s new by typing / or @.

This truly is the worst, most inexplicable thing about teams.
On literally every other chat system on the planet, if you're in a group, you get notifications by default and can turn them off or snooze them manually if you don't want them. Only Teams does this completely backward.
Not only do you have to opt in to get notifications from a channel (i.e. "follow" the channel), but you have to DIG for the option. It's really counterintuitive. But honestly, that problem is only a problem because you don't just have channels followed by default.
For this reason, nobody at my company uses Teams for announcements. Because Teams groupchats in the "Chat" section are so limited (limited number of people, inability to remove users even after they leave the company, etc), and everybody knows that the Teams/Channels part of Teams is a ghosttown, some of us even switched to Slack for some groupchats.
