Once support for Windows 10 native notifications is released, users who choose to use Windows notifications will be able to utilize Windows OS specific settings for the length of time to display notifications. Mac does not have an OS specific setting, so will not have the support.

We are also getting these email messages when we shouldn't. Also now they are addressed to users last names instead of full names. I would guess this is because full name for us is setup Last Name, First Name, but why Teams is pulling the first part of full name instead of first name or display name is a mystery. I think this is less of a feature request and more of a bug. This was working correctly and is no longer working that way.

we have this!  ·  Suphatra responded

Hi there! Here’s how you change your team’s privacy setting:

    1. Click the ellipses next to the team name and choose “Edit Team”.

    2. A pop up box will appear and there will be a drop-down menu labeled “Privacy.”

    3. Then you can select Private or Public for the team’s discoverability setting.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Anybody know if you can set a private team to public if you don't have create group permissions? I have a team owner stating they cannot change their privacy settings. Owners cannot create groups in our org. Could this be the cause?

I have a user reporting that his theme is resetting to the default theme without the application being closed. Has anybody else seen the theme reset while the app is running?

Hi — My apologies for the delay in updating this item. We rolled out a fix a year ago for a specific issue of status changing to away in Teams when you were still active on the device. We thought this had fixed the “incorrect status” issue. From comments below, it sounds like people are still seeing issues.

If you are still having issues, it would be super helpful if you can capture logs by typing Ctrl + Shift + Alt + 1, and send the file from your downloads folder along with device info and detailed repro steps to teamsml@microsoft.com.

    Thanks all!

Great performance and user experience remain a topmost priority for us. Application launch time has seen improvements in the recent build. We will continue making improvements across the product including channel to chat switching and overall resource consumption.

We are trying to transition from Jabber to Teams and the lack of status integration is one of the major complaints people have about Teams. If Skype could do this and Jabber can do this it seems like teams should also do the same.

This seems more like a bug then a feature request. If you click on a person listed in your favorites or recent chats then click the add button, no history option. If you search for a person, then click on them to open that chat, then click the add person button you get the history option. Strange. Furthermore, if you have a group chat in your recent or favorite list on the left and click to add another, I am seeing the history option. Seems pretty hit or miss. Hard to explain this to users.

This one seems less like a feature request and more like a bug. I am having the same issue, but it appears to be sporadic. Some multi user chats have files in the files tab, others don't seem to transfer the file to the files tab.
