Due to prioritization of other work-items this has been moved to the backlog. We will update when it is being actively worked on again.
We are still considering this feature for future releases, and will continue to update the status when it changes.

It would be great to be able to remove people from certain channels or create private channels that only certain team members can see.
Please add to the comments if you are experiencing this. I would like to know the OS and device you are using as well.
I’ll bring this feedback to the feature team and help get this investigated.
This feature request is still being reviewed. The team is working hard to make numerous changes with regards to notifications, but they haven’t forgotten about this item.
I hope to have more details soon.
I agree - notifications remain a problem. I get notifications for somethings and not others. I wish a popup window would stay open until I actually go and check TEAMS, or at least until I close the window.
