Great performance and user experience remain a topmost priority for us. Application launch time has seen improvements in the recent build. We will continue making improvements across the product including channel to chat switching and overall resource consumption.
This request is still on the backlog.
Could you please share an update on this
This is still being worked upon. I hope to have more details in the next couple months.
Please know the team is actively working on this feature.
Any news on this one? - very annoying the more you use teams and try to get new users onboard...
Agreed - the link between file to the conversation is very important - especially when you are trying to drive adoption and new users join your team and by accident do not put the files in a "tidy" location. Or when tidying your files.
if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies. We will keep this request in mind as we evolve the cross-posting feature in the future and update if the status changes.
Details on cross posting can be found here: https://support.office.com/article/cross-post-a-channel-conversation-in-teams-9c1252a3-67ef-498e-a7c1-dd7147b3d295.
This is working today in the web client on Edge & Chrome. The team is actively investigating feasibility in the desktop client.
Multi-window chat is in testing. I hope to have great news regarding rollout to the public rings soon.
We are working to ensure that multi-window and other future multi-window experiences are of the highest quality when they release.
This continues to be on our backlog due to prioritization of other work items. We will update when there is more to share.
This item remains on the backlog.
We have raised the priority of this work item, and it is currently being worked on. We don’t have any dates to share at this point, but will update when we have new status. Thank you!
Seems like if all the similar posts would be consolidated into one topic this would have a high consolidated vote.
Key feature is to have a 2 way street enabling allocation of a task in planner directly from the conversation but also the other way so updates on the planner would reflect in the conversation thread.
