Hi everyone, thanks so much for this request.
We have thought this through and decided to prioritize other user-requested items, so this one has been declined. But please don’t stop telling us what you want, because we’re still working to get many of those done. We’re listening and appreciate your support and patience.

I agree - users should be able to configure (mobile and desktop app) to allow conversations to be ordered from oldest to newest (like Slack, Hipchat, etc) or from newest to oldest (Yammer, Facebook, etc).

Bad choice to ignore this request, but typical of Microsoft UI/UX... Or, at least that's what all our users that prefer Hipchat and Slack will say... Thank you for listening, but not for ignoring us - I've been telling our users that Microsoft is different this time around... I'm bracing for a lot of "I told you so.. same old Microsoft..." This is the #1 complaint we get from all our users regarding Teams. Technically it should be an easy UI/UX change to allow individuals to globally set conversations to either start from top and move down for from the bottom and move up... it's very similar to allowing users to choose between seeing threaded or non-threaded email... it's also just as an emotionally charged UI/UX preference that makes the tool usable or completely unusable for different individuals... its the type of feature (or lack there of) that motivates individuals to migrate to other tools. I'm very disappointed MicroSoft has not come to this conclusion based on the requests and feedback.
