As stated in the last update, the ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is being implemented in stages for Desktop. Faster tenant switching functionality on the Windows client has been rolled out to the public ring fully, and Mac will begin rolling out soon. Work is in progress on cross-tenant notification improvements, and support for multiple accounts on desktop will follow. We’ll keep you posted!
Note: The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today.
Alex & the Teams team
Could we get this to work similar to the way the Outlook app works...where you have the ability to add multiple mailboxes (in this case Teams) that use different credentials but are all accessible in an aggregated view with the option of selecting a narrower focus limited to one specific mailbox (or Team in this case) if / when necessary?
At this point...not having this ability is greatly impacting adoption of MS Teams for a lot of the customers I support who were “late to the show”. They would love to leverage it but their end users already have MS Teams accounts with other organizations / tenants and the ability to switch back and forth is a huge pain. Because of this they feel like it would be better to go with an alternative solution versus paying for a capability that will probably be underutilized.
This item is still in the works.
Also, thank you for the additional feedback. I will circle back to the feature team and provide a new update soon.
Being able to add specific views of SharePoint lists on tabs in Microsoft Teams would be huge. Microsoft Flow is an awesome feature however it is really simple to create a filtered view of a list in SharePoint based on the value of a column versus moving or copying the content of a row into another SharePoint list.Anonymous supported this idea ·
