We want to echo what many have said in that the lack of this feature is the #1 (underscored) reason our companies have not been able to get fully behind teams. Thank you very much for the update and we eagerly await its release. Regarding functionality (included within the 5 types of public/privacy functionality as described), we would hope that membership in a "private" channel is not limited to the membership of the broader team. In other words, we would be able to add members from (a) within the org but not necessarily a member of the Team in which the private channel falls or (b) guests outside of the org. We also agree that a key will be how "private" channel assets (e.g. files, calendars, etc) are segregated from non-private channel assets and how this relates to things like Sharepoint or Planner integrations. Thanks again for the update.
