Weird that this doesn't happen by default. It just inserts a blank image into other Office apps.
This is still being worked upon. Though I don’t have any details I do know the devs are really digging into this one, so I hope to have more information in the near future to share with you all.
At the very least, make it respect Quiet Hours.
This would be really helpful, as it would (semi) allow a user to get a Teams notification from a flow. Really looking for a better way to do this, but still could be useful.
This feature request is working its way through the backlog queue. No new details are available yet.
Just a gentle reminder that some of this is already possible: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/dev/transform/modernize-connect-to-office365-group
Along with this, some members are saying below that there's a link on the root of a SharePoint site collection that can do this as well.
This is currently possible. You have to create an O365 group on a SharePoint site: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/dev/transform/modernize-connect-to-office365-group
Then just create the Team on the O365 group and you're all good to go.
I have no idea why this is still up here.
We have lots of awkward screen-sharing moments when messages come up and our presenters have to be quick to dismiss it.
I thought this was solved a while ago, but it turns out the other "Quiet Hours" suggestion was just about the mobile app. This is a pretty important feature that we don't have yet.
This feature is still in the planning stage. No new updates are available at this time.
This feature is still being reviewed by the feature team. No decision has been made yet. I’ll keep you posted.
to Andy Merskin below - there are other feature requests (such as pop-out windows) that would better address using both at once.
Disagree with this... team work should be separate. Chat replaces Skype for Business for one-on-one. This may seem like a good idea now, but once SfB is gone, this will be a problem.
The information on this suggestion is now outdated. "Islands" and "Sfb Only" are the only available upgrade configurations at the moment.
If I recall correctly, the update got pushed out for a Coexistence setting, but was not kept due to an error that occurred. Coexistence is supposed to be here soon, based on MS documentation from July.
This is an infuriating bug. There needs to be a manual "check-in" option that closes all open sessions on the file and allows you to open it.
Hi! I’m happy to let you know this feature is actively being worked on. We’ll keep you posted!

Specifically: "Cloud recording—Will provide one-click meeting recordings with automatic transcription and timecoding, enabling all team members the ability to read captions, search within the conversation, and playback all or part of the meeting. In the future, it will also include facial recognition, so remarks can be attributed to specific meeting attendees."
This feature request is still on in the backlog. No new updates available at this time.

This feature request is still being actively worked upon. Good progress is being made, but I cannot share any additional details at this time.
While we work on our Whiteboard you can also try the third party whiteboard app Freehand by Invision that can be found by clicking the Store icon from within Teams and go to the app gallery.
Thank you for all the feedback and suggestions.
Nice! Any word on whether this will integrate with the existing Whiteboard preview app?
Thanks to those of you who participated in the session with our user research team. We are continuing to work on this important feature, and will update you as we get closer to completing. ~ Alex
Hi Everyone – thank you for your patience. As was commented by someone below, Suphatra is no longer at Microsoft, but rest assured we are working on this feature.
Patience is key :) Thanks Warren!
Any update on this? It's one of the major roadblocks for implementing Teams within our organization.
Nice! Good to hear. Thanks for the update.
Sorry for the delay on an update on this one! I’m hunting down the status for you and will update once I have it.
Also, if you are interested in participating in testing or surveys for this, just tweet me at @skprufo.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news. This item has been declined. There will be no work to hide or remove the reply button.
As many people have commented, a big ask is to help improve how people distinguish between giving a reply and starting a new message.
For that the focus will be on this item. “Better visual delineation between `Reply` and `Start a new conversation`”
