As stated in the last update, the ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is being implemented in stages for Desktop. Faster tenant switching functionality on the Windows client has been rolled out to the public ring fully, and Mac will begin rolling out soon. Work is in progress on cross-tenant notification improvements, and support for multiple accounts on desktop will follow. We’ll keep you posted!

Note: The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today.

    Thanks,
    Alex & the Teams team

See screenshot. One of our employees saw it a while ago on his iPhone, finally seeing it on Android with the latest update. Pretty sure some of our people have it on desktop as well.

We have this feature now. Looks like MS is rolling it out.

I can have multiple O365 (and other) email accounts in Outlook, on my computer and phone...sooooooo...????

    Tim commented  ·

Solution for the devs, at least from a GUI perspective:
Top bar in teams, likley to the left of the search bar, have the organization you are currently viewing/logged into visible, and make it a simple drop down with other organizations you have credentials saved for, or perhaps even were logged into recently. Then you can just click on the domain and it will load, if the password is saved, or will ask for your password.

Check out the Plex app, older versions however (6.17.1.5294 or earlier). At the top, you quickly select the server you have access to from a drop down. Super easy and quick. That's how it should be in Teams.

Hi — My apologies for the delay in updating this item. We rolled out a fix a year ago for a specific issue of status changing to away in Teams when you were still active on the device. We thought this had fixed the “incorrect status” issue. From comments below, it sounds like people are still seeing issues.

If you are still having issues, it would be super helpful if you can capture logs by typing Ctrl + Shift + Alt + 1, and send the file from your downloads folder along with device info and detailed repro steps to teamsml@microsoft.com.

    Thanks all!

Thank you so much for your support of the product. This request was particularly helpful and we appreciate your engagement in the surveys, comments and forum to help us design this feature. Please continue to submit ideas!

For this item, we’re making great progress. It has now entered TAP validation with a small group of tenants. Will let you know how that goes!
