This is preposterous, especially considering the Teams team seems to be releasing silly features like allowing you to set status from the mouse-over popup of the TEams entry in the Windows task bar. (I just noticed this UI was there today)
Another strike against my company choosing Teams for chat/wiki/data sharing.

The team is looking into this feature and considering solutions. We will update when there is more information to share.

Agreed, this behavior is very counter-productive, and wastes my teams' time.

A good workaround for the short 2 week window they use for "My Activity" is to instead do a Teams/channels-wide search for your name in quotes, then filter by the date range you want.

It would be very useful (for personal reporting purposes) if the Activity Feed window went back 4 weeks instead of 2, or was customizeable.

It appears this behavior occurs also for Wiki edits. Further support that this is a general problem with page refresh.

I want this too. Tab is not very useful - what it useful is embedding content in teams threads, as Mohamed suggests.
This is also here: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/35692132-stream-videos-in-teams-thread

We have raised the priority of this work item, and it is currently being worked on. We don’t have any dates to share at this point, but will update when we have new status. Thank you!

My team has a dozen or so of these problem folders in SharePoint associated with renamed Channels. In these cases, we've renamed the folder in SharePoint to correspond to the new Channel name, and I'm fine if the Teams solution requires manually copying files in sharepoint, as long as the behavior changes to make renamed Channels place new Files in the proper new folder.

I agree with this. Left pane in search results do highlight the search term(s) however the right pane of search results is just a stream of cards that you have to actually parse/read completely to find the reference to the search term. This is a huge time waster and not a difficult thing to fix. Shocking that this common sense feature wasn't in Teams search from the start.

Work has been done by the team to add support for partial strings. They are continuing to work on improving the experience.

Yes, please do! Many people work in the terminal and it's useful to be able to paste fixed-width text into the wiki. Every time I have tried to do this it is completely unreadable bc of the extremely poor formatting options (font, orientation, way too much spacing between lines)... a landscape option would alleviate this a bit.

I’m excited to let everyone know that a new build that saves the theme setting is rolling out this week! I’ll mark completed once it’s fully rolled out.
Thanks for your patience!

Same here, and I'm on Microsoft Teams Version 1.0.00.33658 (64-bit). I've been using the dark theme in Teams for about 3 months and am pretty sure this is a regression.
Agreed, this is preposterous. In the meantime, how do you use Teams as a knowledge base tool? I am deciding on a current best practice in an Engineering org that has adopted Teams. I read somewhere that one workaround would be to consolidate all of a Team's Wikis into a channel called "Wiki", and use subject headers, markup, and edit capability to author your now-searchable content in every top post in the channel. I'm inclined to use this approach for now instead of proliferating content in such dark corners as Teams Wikis.
Does anyone have any other suggestions for workarounds _using Teams today_?
