I see this an evolution of the new(ish) Wiki page where I can see my personal and all. Filtering by a specific Team would be really awesome (along with several other Wiki features)

The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.

You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.

    Thanks!

Wiki now supports text markdown and styling from the toolbar! We are continually improving our compose experience in Wiki, look out for new improvements coming soon!

+1 on @Bert's comment: we don't need another wyswyg editor, what we'd like is an actual wiki, ideally, leveraging the power of the CMS backing it.
    - Create new topics/pages simply by adding a link to them
    - get rid of the .mhtml format
    - … other "ideas"

these are not "ideas", they're obvious product must haves if indeed this is a "wiki".

on the backlog  ·  Warren responded

As a general status I’m going to flag this as “on the backlog”.

However, here is the list breakdown for you all. :)

    1) Image embedding.
    -This is supported!

    2) Better Copy & Paste
-I would think is is asking for copy and paste between sections – this is -“on the backlog”

    3) Better Alerts,
-If this is a request for notification when someone changes a section you “own” or “follow” this is “on the backlog”

    4) Why isn’t there an equally capable Modern app.
-Not being considered at this time.

    5) Editing functions are terrible.
-This is “on the backlog” but making good progress… hope to have more details in the near future to share.

    6) Hyperlinks not recognized.
    -This should be fixed already.

    7) The burger icon is so small (to expand the list of Wiki’s), couldnt find with a microscope. Make is screen- size dependant. Larger than…

Definitely needs lots of attention, but, if it's to be a wiki, make it an actual wiki as generally understood.

OLE and rich text can stay in OneNote IMO

    The wiki that isn't... again...
Look at VSTS, they recently added wiki support and it works well.

There are so many issues with the wiki and no one seems to be voting. Is the Wiki feature not getting used? I assume there's instrumentation that indicates this.

    - Dynamically create new pages when adding markdown links
    - allow me to link to existing pages without a back and forth copy past
    - link to existing content including files and tabs without back and forth copy paste (and removal of hands from keyboard)
    - don't force me to use a pointing device to build up pages
    - copy and paste anything any time (Sections are brutal!)
    - collaborative edit has existed in google docs for how long? Seems this is brand new, yet sections are *locked* if someone else is editing. Stuff just doesn't work. I don't get a warning at least immediately... if two people are overwriting each others' stuff, so be it. Make it visible and collaborative... and occasionally fun.

I'd rather not have the old sharepoint format which is in sharepoint pages. html works for me. given SharePoint Online is backing this, there's no reason to pack bits into the .mhtml format imo.

if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies. We will keep this request in mind as we evolve the cross-posting feature in the future and update if the status changes.

Details on cross posting can be found here: https://support.office.com/article/cross-post-a-channel-conversation-in-teams-9c1252a3-67ef-498e-a7c1-dd7147b3d295.

It is recommended that you try adding the other SP pages as tabs within Teams.

If you feel this doesn’t meet your needs, please leave comments summarizing your usage scenario and why it doesn’t work.

Up-votes and all feedback is shared with the feature team on an ongoing basis.

    Thank you!
