For this item, we’re making great progress. It has now entered TAP validation with a small group of tenants. Will let you know how that goes!
I got this merge notification today. Not sure how are they related what usage reports per team for owners means is that there is and usage report for each team for the owners of that team. How ever reporting capabilities looks much more global for several teams. Could you please give us some feedback of what are you planning to develop in this sense.
Thanks in advance

We are after reporting capabilities to capture granular detail on activity within Teams.
We would like to have data capturing:
1. Number of users enabled
2. Number of daily active unique users
3. Breakdown of devices uniquely used
4. Number of teams created
5. Number of teams deleted
6. How many instant messages sent overall in the Chat
7. How many calls made in Teams
8. Number of files shared in channels
9. How many combined ‘likes’ have been made over a period of time

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this feature request has been declined.
Hey Microsoft Teams users — I want you to weigh in on new features around channels and group chats. The engineering team and I have put together this survey to find out how you want to see channels improve. You can fill it out here: https://microsoft.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_esTxHdABLQxKLvn
And I’m still waiting on approval to get you a good update about Private Channels. I can say that we ARE working on it, fervently.
Could be a current channel convertible to a private channel when you release this Private channels functionality?
I really appreciate you are working on it, it means Microsoft Teams listen its customer needs and that means a lot.I know it is difficult to provide a Go Live date. However many of us are waiting for this to avoid creating so many teams. In medium and big organizations people start to struggle to find and pick the right team. Could you let us know if we are talking about a month, 3 months or more to go live with private channels?
Thanks in advance
Sorry for the delay on an update on this one! I’m hunting down the status for you and will update once I have it.
Also, if you are interested in participating in testing or surveys for this, just tweet me at @skprufo.
