If you open any Office document to view it from within Microsoft Teams just go to the File menu and hit Print. No need to download, screenshot or open in the rich client app.

if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies. We will keep this request in mind as we evolve the cross-posting feature in the future and update if the status changes.
Details on cross posting can be found here: https://support.office.com/article/cross-post-a-channel-conversation-in-teams-9c1252a3-67ef-498e-a7c1-dd7147b3d295.

What is the latest update on this one? I completed a survey about what this feature would look like a long time ago but haven't seen any progress. The ability to move and export conversations is becoming more and more important given the extensive use of Teams in our organisation. Would appreciate prioritisation and a prompt update

This continues to be on our backlog due to prioritization of other work items. We will update when there is more to share.

Any updates on this? The more we use Teams the more we need to have the flexibility to move things around. It's been over 2 years now! Please prioritise this.

Very disappointed that this has been deprioritised as we were asked for input around what our needs were and seemed like this was progressing. It is almost impossible to get the structure of Teams and Channels right up-front. Things change too often so we need to be able to move channel, regroup channels, move conversations... super frustrating that this is taking so long!

This would be super beneficial in helping with integrating Sharepoint with Teams. Teams is great for conversations and because it is so easy to post a message people are using it for sharing News. It would be great if we could display those News posts (conversations) by embedding tose Teams channels on our intranet home page.

Thank you for your continued feedback. The feature team is actively working on this feature as well as doing work to give users the choice to open Word/Excel/PowerPoint files by default in Browser, Office app or inside the Teams app. We will share an update here as soon as one is available.

Unfortunately because of changing priorities, this feature was moved to the backlog. The team hopes to pick it up again in the near future.

The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.
You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.
Thanks!
