    Me too. The loading/display of images in the "Chat" area of MS Teams is very buggy/unreliable. These images frequently fail to load and instead show a broken image symbol. It's a long-standing MAJOR and embarrassing bug in MS Teams. I'm really surprised to see that after such a very long time, MS Teams is still very unreliable in the area of displaying images in Chat. (I'm using the desktop app version of MS Teams in Windows 10).

    The image-loading problem also happens in the desktop app version of MS Teams, in Windows 10. I'm surprised that there aren't thousands of users complaining about the loading/display of images in the "Chat" area of MS Teams. It's very buggy/unreliable. Images in the "Chat" area of MS Teams frequently fail to load. It's a long-standing MAJOR embarrassing bug in MS Teams. I'm really surprised to see that after such a very long time, MS Teams is still very unreliable in the area of displaying images in Chat. (I'm using the desktop app version of MS Teams in Windows 10).

    Me too. Images frequently fail to load in 2 places:
    * When you click to view the full zoomed image.
    * When you simply scroll up and down in the "Chat" area of MS Teams.

    I'm surprised that there aren't thousands of users complaining about the loading/display of images in the "Chat" area of MS Teams. It's very buggy/unreliable. Images in the "Chat" area of MS Teams frequently fail to load. It's a long-standing MAJOR embarrassing bug in MS Teams. I'm really surprised to see that after such a very long time, MS Teams is still very unreliable in the area of displaying images in Chat.     You should experience significant improvements in copy & paste of images within Teams, as well as to & from Teams. We are aware of a few remaining issues, but the most common cases are resolved.

    Even when you manage to paste an image into the "Chat" area of MS Teams, there still exists problems with loading images. Images in the "Chat" area of MS Teams frequently fail to load.     Me too. I've attached a screenshot that demonstrates the bug. The spelling checker in MS Teams is broken. In MS Teams but NOT in MS Word, various words such as "I've" and "we've" are incorrectly marked as spelling mistakes. MS Word recognizes these words correctly, whereas Teams doesn't. These are informal words but they're not spelling mistakes. These words are appropriate for use in chat because chat is often informal.

    MS Teams constantly embarrasses me in front of my colleagues :-( I'd like to continue using MS Teams but my colleagues point out multiple embarrassing defects in MS Teams, again and again and again. I try to tell my colleagues that we should continue using MS Teams, but I'm totally embarrassed by the way that Teams can't even do the spelling checker properly, and various other embarrassing bugs. It's totally ridiculous that the words "I've", "we've", etc are marked as spelling mistakes. Also, MS Teams ignores the custom dictionary words that I added via MS Office products such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

    PLEASE HELP!! Please fix the problems in MS Teams. Please stop embarrassing me in front of my colleagues. If this ongoing embarrassment saga doesn't end sometime soon, I'll be forced to switch my recommendation to the Slack service instead of MS Teams.

    (My computer's culture is set to US-English, and I'm using Windows 10 Pro and the Windows desktop version of MS Teams.)

    Please use the same grammar checker and custom dictionary words as MS Office (MS Word etc), but make them available in MS Teams. It's bizarre the way that MS Teams doesn't use the same grammar and spelling checker as the MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).

    Teams is frequently very frustratingly slow when typing text (Windows 10 desktop). I can barely type in the "Give feedback" box in Teams because it lags so badly. I type a word and then have to wait a couple of seconds before the word appears! Likewise it is slow to type text in the chat area. I think this awfully slow performance might be related to the fact that my colleague and I have a large number of messages in the chat area because we've been discussing work topics in detail for a long time. However, it is really essential for Teams to support a large number of chat messages because Teams is intended for companies to use.

    Another frustrating problem is that whenever I reopen Teams, or whenever I move away from the chat area and then later return to the chat area, the chat is NOT scrolled to the most recent message at the bottom. I have to use the scrollbar every time in order to scroll down to the most recent message. Furthermore, it is slow to use the scrollbar to scroll to the bottom because it takes time to load the messages. It is also slow to switch between the "Chat" and "Teams" areas of Teams.

    Great performance and user experience remain a topmost priority for us. Application launch time has seen improvements in the recent build. We will continue making improvements across the product including channel to chat switching and overall resource consumption.

    I also experience problems with chat scrolling back to a seemingly random time in the past. Teams app for Windows 10. I don't know what causes it randomly jump backwards. However there is also another problem that happens every time: Whenever I close and re-open the Teams app (or whenever I restart the computer), the chat is scrolled back to a time that is weeks or months in the past. I'm forced to manually drag the scrollbar to the bottom every time I re-open Teams.

    I think this bug happens when the Teams app (for Windows 10) automatically re-opens when the computer is restarted. If I manually close and re-open Teams today, the maximized setting is remembered, but when Teams starts automatically after restarting the computer, I have to manually click to maximize Teams again.

    I experience this bug also. Every time I log into Windows, Teams starts automatically, and I have to click to maximize the window, and this setting fails to be remembered after the computer is restarted.

    Now in Teams for Windows 10 desktop and in the MacOS version, whenever we close and re-open the Teams app (or whenever we restart the computer), the chat is scrolled back to a time that is weeks or months in the past. Furthermore, occasionally the chat jumps backwards even without re-opening Teams (possibly this happens when selecting and copying text, but it seems random).

    To confirm, EVERY time Teams is re-opened, the chat is scrolled to a point weeks or months in the past. Additionally, jump-backs occasionally occur at other random times, maybe in relation to selecting and copying text.

    This bug happens for us too, but only in the MacOS version. Our experience is slightly different to what Chris Goumas described. For us, it doesn't jump backwards every time a message is posted, rather it jumps backwards sometimes, seemingly randomly.

    After additional messages are posted it seemingly randomly returns to the bottom (most recent) posts. Sometimes it jumps in the middle of typing a post.

    As of today, this problem still occurs for us when using the MacOS version. The Mac version of Teams has never made any sound for us, or no sound that we could hear.

    When I click the "Video call" or "Audio call" icons in MS Teams, the person I call hears NO audible notification that I am calling him/her, if he/she is using the MacOS desktop version of MS Teams. The Windows version plays sounds, but sounds are broken in the MacOS version. The visual notification banner/popup is also faulty in the MacOS version. The video call feature is practically useless when I try to call colleagues using MacOS because they usually miss my calls because they don't see or hear the notification that someone is calling them. It is very frustrating.

    Same problem here, but only in the Mac version, not the Windows version. When a new chat message arrives in the MacOS desktop version of MS Teams, no visual notification appears, and the bloop sound volume is so low that it is almost silent and very difficult to hear.

    When pasting, the default behavior should be to paste as PLAIN text, not styled text, in my opinion. I've watched several other people use their computer and they suffer difficulties using copy and paste, because 90% of the time, they simply want to copy and paste some text, but the styling/formatting messes them up, and they end up with broken or mismatching text styles in Teams, MS Word, and OneNote, or they end up clicking a lot of things to repair the styling. Please make the default behavior to paste as PLAIN text -- it would help a lot of people. However, copy and paste with styled/formatted text is also a necessary feature, so I suggest adding both styled and plain-text copy and paste commands to context menus.

    Same problem here, but only in the Mac version, not the Windows version. The Mac version fails to notify me a new chat message arrives. I tried changing the settings but it made no difference. The Windows version notifies me correctly.
