Yes, this is a HUGE annoyance. In its current state, that column heading should read "Created Date", because that is what it seems to reflect.
Having the "Modified" date be correctly represented would dramatically improve the usability of the Files tab - especially in my current project where the file structure is enormous, it would be so much easier to traverse if we could filter on last modified reliably.
I really can't see this being that big of an ask too - kind of seems like a query just got its wires crossed.
Please please please make this right!
The team is working on changes to the desktop client so recently opened tabs are kept in memory, as long as it doesn’t use too much memory.
I will keep you posted as we make further progress.
We have been iterating on different designs and are starting to test internally. I don’t have a timeframe but will keep you posted.
As stated in the last update, the ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is being implemented in stages for Desktop. Faster tenant switching functionality on the Windows client has been rolled out to the public ring fully, and Mac will begin rolling out soon. Work is in progress on cross-tenant notification improvements, and support for multiple accounts on desktop will follow. We’ll keep you posted!
Note: The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today.

Wanted to share that we are continuing to make good progress on this feature. We’ll update as we have more details on timing to share.
We have raised the priority of this work item, and it is currently being worked on. We don’t have any dates to share at this point, but will update when we have new status. Thank you!
